Senior Issues We Can Handle
Your mom or dad will likely run into the typical problems of aging over time. Here are some of the most common issues with the elderly to be concerned with. Maybe you are experiencing them now. Hiring a dependable caregiver is the smart thing to do, and your senior will thank you for it.
Are you searching for a quality Justice home care company? Destiny can help with all of these problems:
Falls: This is one of the most common problems among seniors. They fall and they cannot get up, even to make a phone call.
Leaving the stove on: This danger is obvious. Your senior might forget that the stove is turned on. A smoke alarm helps, but that might not be enough.
Slipping in the shower or bath: This is a type of fall that can have devastating consequences. A bathtub grab bar is a good idea.
Loneliness: Spending hours in the home alone can make your senior lonely and in need of companionship. A friendly face that shows up every day is a great benefit.
Depression: This is a common problem among seniors living alone. They lack friends as well as the responsibilities of looking after others. Thus they become self-absorbed.
